I established as a maker and an artist with the pleasure of working for. I studied glass making in the Historic Glass Quarter, Stourbridge, where I developed my basic skills that are the essential foundation for creating works in this challenging medium. “Glass work is like a sport,” says Rosenberg, who came in third in season 1 and was a guest evaluator on season 2. Minhi, 33, loves that glass still pushes her and challenges her even after 14 years as a glassblower. In Walker’s own words, ‘I am a sculptor working with molten glass as my primary medium. Plus, there’s an athleticism-almost a choreography-to glassmaking that makes it hard to look away.
